Learn to Fix

Free Adult Bicycle Maintenance Workshop! Learning some basic repair skills that can be replicated at home or on the go, and also that can save you time and money. During the two-hour workshop, participants gained confidence in tool handling and understanding bikes. They learned how to perform full safety checks on their bikes and make simple adjustments, practice removing a wheel and a tyre to repair puncture, and much more.

Learn to Ride – Free Adult Bicycle Riding Workshop!

Give them a life skill they will never forget. From basic skills to advanced journeys, we’ve got it all covered with our learn to ride training for Adults.  Today at the Leeds Urban Bike Park, participants learned to ride a bike from scratch, gained confidence and improved their cycling skills and Knowledge.  Thanks to the instructors at the Leeds Urban Bike Park and to #BigBikeRevival for making this a huge success.

Knife and weapons crime at the highest level in 9 years

The number of criminals caught with knives or dangerous weapons is at its highest level since 2010 official figures reveal. More than 22,000 offences of possessing or making threats resulted in a conviction in England and Wales in 2018-19, according to the Ministry of Justice. One in five of the culprits was aged 10 and 17, and almost two-thirds of cases did not result in an immediate prison term. Asylum Seekers and Refugees taking part in the Photography Workshop in Leeds

The workshop was jointly organised by SpringAid Consultancy International CIC in partnership with the Tales of a City Tours which brought together asylum seekers and refugees from the various wards of the Leeds area.
